Trim whitespace in spreadsheet cells
Trim whitespace collapses internal spaces and strips edges. Unify empty values is a separate step that maps N/A, NULL, -, and similar placeholders to a true blank so you can toggle them independently.

Why two steps?
Analysts sometimes need to keep the letters N/A as a category. Splitting trim from empty-unify keeps that choice in the recipe.
